Consumers today have more and more choices about where they buy their products and from whom. They have blogs, chatrooms, customer reviews, feedback forms and miriads of other tools to help them make the right choice. All these tools help the consumer know that the product they are buying online is the right product for them at the right price.

Why then is the business world not the same? Aren’t business owners and company employees just consumers who happen to be sitting in an office, a warehouse or on a production line? Should they not expect the same treatment in the office as outside of it?

What if business people could view the products, read comments, and otherwise interact with their suppliers to be sure they are getting the product they need at the price that is right? Wouldn’t that be great?

Yes. Yes it would.
