Product Description
LOCTITE EDAG PF 455B E&C UV curable acrylate is formulated as a crossover dielectric and is compatible with other EDAG E&C inks. It is a translucent green acrylate that is usually used in combination with other inks to enhance the end properties.
LOCTITE EDAG PF 455B E&C has excellent adhesion and printability along with good dielectric strength. It is typically used as an insulating crossover in assembly operations. For example it can be used as a dielectric ink to make a bridge over conductive inks such as ECI 1010 AND ECI 1011.

Viscosity Viscosity Viscosity is a measurement of a fluid’s resistance to flow. Viscosity is commonly measured in centiPoise (cP). One cP is defined as the viscosity of water and all other viscosities are derived from this base. MPa is another common unit with a 1:1 conversion to cP. When applying LOCTITE EDAG PF 455B E&C as a crossover, two layers of approximately 12 to 15μm each should be applied. Cure both layers at an energy level of 0.5Joule/cm2 to obtain a good inter-
coat adhesion between the first and second layer and to obtain a maximum adhesion of the crossover.
When using LOCTITE EDAG PF 455B E&C as a crossover, be sure to dry the inks printed over it within 5 minutes. Do not let the inks
printed over LOCTITE EDAG PF 455B E&C air dry for extended periods of time.
