OPTOLINQ GT-W170 | White Epoxy Mold Compound
- Reflective compound
- Replaces Kyocera KE-96/95
- Oxidation resistance
Product Description
OPTOLINQ GT-W170 is a Series of white reflective compounds used in optocoupler, photocoupler applications. It exhibits excellent reflectance at 800 and 940nm and displays high whiteness and oxidation resistance. It has ~70-75% crushed silica content and performs great against shrinkage and stress.
This product has been developed specifically to replace the discontinued Kyocera KE-96/95. There are two additional GT-W170 versions with slightly different specifications that might better fit your application. The full range of versions and specifications can be found in our emitter application page.
Recommended Curing Schedule: 150 - 200sec + 2 - 6 hours @150°C (depends on the version)

Storage
Store the product in the unopened container in a dry location. Storage information may be indicated on the product container labeling.
Optimal Storage: 5°C or below, in closed containers. After removal from cold storage, the material MUST be allowed to come to room temperature, in the sealed container, to avoid moisture contamination. The suggested waiting time for a standard 15 kg carton box is 24 hours.
Thawing time is 24 hrs. After that, pot life (floor life) is 24 hrs.
