Concentration is determined by testing total hexabromocylcododecane (HBCDD) content
Concentration is determined by a calculation using the test results of organostannic compounds (TBT, DOT, MOT) or elements such as Arsenic, Lead, Cobalt, barium, Chromium (VI), Cadmium or Boron respectively.
Concentration is determined by testing for the specific target substance contained within the product and then a calculation is used to convert the data into the actual concentration
The inclusion of acrylamide in the candidate list of substances of very high concern of REACH is suspended until further notice from EU court. On March 30, 2010, ECHA has announced the inclusion of acrylamide to the Candidate List of SVHC
Determined by testing for presence of the anhydrous form of disodium tetraborate as this is the only form that is determined relevant by ECHA
Concentration is determined by calculation based on information provided in ECHA's Technical Dossier. TGIC is a mixture which also contains β-TGIC. According to ECHA the ratio of β-TGIC to TGIC is around 1 to 10. Concentration of β-TGIC is determined based on this ratio
Concentration is determined by testing total cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylic anhydride content
4,4’-Isopropylidenediphenol (bisphenol A) (BPA) is listed three times (number 170, 174 and 177). It was requested by EU member states to be added again with different properties. It does not increase the total of substances that need to be tested.
Concentration cannot be analysed directly, because the substance doesn’t have a fixed molecular weight. Therefore concentration cannot be calculated based on a specific element. Our current solution is to test for the presence of the specific organic compound “4-heptylphenol”. A positive test result will be indicated by a note included in the final report. Caplinq reserves the right to modify the test method of this item in the future.
With current testing methods it is impossible to determine if the detected lead is coming from lead ions, lead elements or lead compounds. Therefore the total of detected lead is used to report the lead concentration.
