Main features
  • Carcinogen free
  • Excellent workability
  • Good self release

Product Description

WS300 Waxed Rubber Conditioning sheets are used to protect the mold surface and ensure a good releasing effect after cleaning. It has a low to medium viscosity and is intended for IC & Discrete application processes.

WS300 is a carcinogen free self releasing sheet with excellent workability and good fluidity with minimal odor. It can fill deep cavities and exhibits great self release properties. This sheet which is mainly used for compression mold conditioning cures in ~300-600seconds and can requires 1-2 shots. It can withstand pressure between 30-130 psi and a mold temperature range of 165-200°C.

WS300 can be used in various steps of the cleaning and conditioning processes, either in normal cleaning or in enhanced, prolonged or mid term conditioning. It is always 1-2shots right after the cleaning process unless it is used for mid term where it can condition the mold right after the second, intermediate production run.

For reference, a normal EMC cleaning process would go as follows:

  1. Production
  2. Cleaning with Rubber cleaning sheets
  3. Conditioning with Wax conditioning sheets
  4. Dummy EMC molding
  5. Production
  6. Proverbially Rinse and repeat

Curing Schedule
Curing schedule is the time and temperature required for a mixed material to fully cure. While this applies to materials that cure with heat, there are also other materials that can be cured with UV.

Even though some materials can cure on ambient temperatures, others will require elevated temperature conditions to properly cure.

There are various curing schedules depending on the material type and application. For heat curing, the most common ones are Snap cure, Low temperature cure, Step cure and Staged cure.

Recommended cure type, schedule, time and temperature can always be found on the Technical data sheets.
Cure Time 5 - 10 min
Mold Temperature 165 - 200 °C
